CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH | Director of Group SalesLuxury Destination Resort | Northern New JerseyA premier luxury resort destination in the Northeast is seeking a high-performing Director of Group Sales to lead and drive its corporate group, meetings, incentive, and conference business.Located just outside New York City, this expansive luxury resort destination offers a dynamic environment featuring multiple hotels, championship golf, award-winning culinary experiences, wellness programming, spas, and extensive meeting & event facilities — making it one of the region’s most sought-after destinations for corporate retreats and group programs.This is an outstanding opportunity for a strategic and hands-on sales leader who thrives in a luxury resort environment and brings strong experience selling complex group business while leading high-performing teams.Key Responsibilities:• Lead the overall corporate group sales strategy across two resort hotel properties• Drive revenue through corporate meetings, incentive programs, conferences, and retreats• Actively solicit and close new group business within key feeder markets while identifying emerging opportunities• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Sales Managers and Sales Managers• Partner closely with revenue management, marketing, and resort operations to optimize pricing and booking pace• Represent the resort at trade shows, sales missions, networking events, and client presentations• Monitor sales performance, forecasting, conversion ratios, and market trends to drive strategic decision-making• Ensure seamless collaboration between sales and operations to deliver exceptional guest experiencesQualified candidates will ideally possess:• 6–8 years of hospitality sales experience with a strong focus on corporate and group business• Proven success leading a sales team while maintaining strong personal production• Experience within luxury resorts, full-service hotels, or high-end destination properties preferred• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance big-picture planning and active selling• Experience with CRM systems, forecasting tools, and group sales reportingIf you are interested or would like to learn more confidentially, please apply directly or contact us privately.#LuxuryHospitality #GroupSales #HotelSales #HospitalityCareers #MeetingsIndustry #IncentiveTravel #ResortSales #LuxuryResort #CorporateEvents #HospitalityLeadership
