Painter
Join a growing, fast-paced company in a critical role that ensures high-quality finishing of alternator housings and aftermarket components. We’re seeking a skilled Painter with experience in automotive or similar precision painting applications.
Responsibilities
Prepare parts for painting, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and priming
Mix and apply paint using appropriate techniques (spray gun, HVLP, etc.) to ensure smooth, even coatings
Monitor paint thickness, adhesion, and overall finish quality
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following proper safety protocols
Perform quality checks to ensure painted parts meet company standards
Troubleshoot and resolve common paint defects (runs, fisheyes, orange peel, etc.)
Maintain and clean spray equipment regularly
Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines
Requirements
Minimum of one year of automotive or similar paint experience (construction industry experience does not qualify)
Experience using automotive or industrial paint application methods
Understanding of proper surface preparation and finishing techniques
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistency
Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect finished work
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Includes 30-minute lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
