This is your opportunity to champion business practice performance, inspire teams, and drive sustainable growth across markets.What You'll Do:Inspire and develop a high‐performing team while maintaining strong awareness of morale and engagementDrive strategic growth, positioning the Business Practice as a recognized industry leaderEnsure exceptional project delivery, consistent standards, and high client satisfactionLead financial performance—setting targets, managing budgets, and optimizing key metricsStrengthen project management excellence and guide technical approaches across the practiceAlign staffing and resources to meet workload demands and support organizational goalsChampion cross‐practice collaboration to enhance efficiency and enterprise successAdvance business development efforts, representing the practice in proposals, interviews, and market outreachWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required; Master's degree preferredMinimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredExpert knowledge of engineering fundamentals and specialty areasAdvanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft OfficeDeep understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsProven leadership skills and ability to lead teams in a collaborative environmentPersuasive, articulate communicator—effective one‐on‐one, in teams, and with large groupsStrong strategic mindset with the ability to position the practice for growth and technical excellenceDeep understanding of Business Practice operations, future service opportunities, and market needsDemonstrated financial management experience with solid P&L comprehensionHigh energy, results-oriented leader with the ability to influence across all levels of the organizationStrong ability to manage confidential information, resolve issues quickly, and drive initiatives to completionProven relationship builder skilled in motivating teams and fostering cross organizational collaborationParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredWhy You'll Love It Here:Lead a Business Practice with significant impact on strategic direction and organizational successShape high‐quality project delivery that strengthens client trust and enhances CHA's reputationEnjoy a collaborative culture with opportunities for growth, advancement, and meaningful influenceCurious about the impactful work our MEP team is doing?
