Saw Operator

Job Overview The Saw Operator operates saws and other machines to cut metal and perform related tasks in the Pall Aerospace Machine Shop located in New Port Richey, FL. The position requires a Monday‑Friday schedule, 6:30AM–3:00PM, with routine overtime. Responsibilities Pull raw materials and set up/operate pneumatic saws to cut metal. Remove burrs from machined parts using hand and power tools. Polish and blend surfaces as needed. Modify tooling on grinding equipment. Run CNC end‑cap turning/milling equipment. Use precision measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, drop indicator, etc.) to verify products meet specifications. Read basic blueprints to manufacture products to specifications and requirements. Complete required paperwork, including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers, data, Follower Tags, ATP, and scanning documents into QA. Maintain inventory accuracy of all products. Move materials and jobs to correct work centers per routing and perform SAP goods‑movement transactions. Perform other tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, with proof of diploma. At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with milling and turning machine equipment. Physical & Environmental Requirements Lifting: 35lbs, daily. Ability to bend, lift, sit, stand, and twist for extended periods (≥8hours). Use hand tools to load parts. Good eye‑hand dexterity; pass a basic eye test. Work with solvents, oils, and other chemicals. Additional Requirements This position requires access to export‑controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. lawful permanent residency, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
