Role: Technical Program / Project Manager – GCP Data Cloud Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)Job Type: Contract JobJob SummaryStrong expertise in cloud data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end delivery of data initiatives, including data migration, platform modernization, and analytics solutions. This role requires a blend of program management, data engineering knowledge, and stakeholder management.________________________________________Key Responsibilities• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of data programs on GCP • Drive implementation of data pipelines, data lakes, and analytics platforms • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to define requirements and solutions • Oversee development and deployment using: o BigQuery (data warehousing & analytics) o Cloud Dataflow (ETL pipelines) o Cloud Pub/Sub (real-time ingestion) o Cloud Storage • Manage program timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables • Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies • Drive data migration initiatives from on-premise to GCP • Monitor performance, cost optimization, and scalability of data solutions • Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks • Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders ________________________________________Required Qualifications• 7+ years of experience in Program/Project Management • Strong understanding of cloud data platforms, preferably on GCP • Hands-on knowledge of data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data warehousing) • Experience managing large-scale data or cloud transformation programs • Proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence) • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
