We are always looking for qualified, culture-friendly candidates to join our professional and somewhat quirky family.Hybrid Contract (75% Remote, 25% Onsite)Supporting ESTNo C2C/No 3rd Parties/Must Reside StatesideEpic Technical Project Manager – Hosting FocusWe are seeking an experienced Epic Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate the transition from an on-premise (or public cloud) environment to Epic Hosting. This role will serve as the central point of coordination between Epic, internal IT and operational teams, and third-party partners—ensuring alignment, execution, and successful delivery across all phases of the program.This individual will bring both hands-on Epic program leadership experience and a strong understanding of the technical and operational considerations involved in a hosting transition.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end program management for the Epic Hosting transitionServe as the primary liaison between Epic, internal stakeholders, and any external partnersDevelop and manage the overall program plan, timeline, milestones, and deliverablesCoordinate cross-functional workstreams including infrastructure, applications, integrations, security, and operational readinessOversee and drive testing strategy and execution (unit, integrated, regression, and go-live readiness)Identify risks, dependencies, and critical path items; proactively manage mitigation strategiesEnsure alignment across technical and operational teams throughout the transitionFacilitate executive-level reporting, status updates, and governance meetingsSupport change management, communication planning, and stakeholder engagementDrive go-live planning and post-transition stabilization activitiesRequired Qualifications8+ years of healthcare IT project/program management experienceDirect experience with Epic implementations or large-scale Epic initiativesProven experience leading or supporting Epic Hosting transitions (on-prem or cloud to Epic Hosting strongly preferred)Strong understanding of infrastructure, hosting environments, and application dependencies within Epic ecosystemsDemonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholdersExperience coordinating testing strategies and large-scale integrated testing effortsExcellent communication skills with ability to engage both technical teams and executive leadershipPreferred QualificationsPrior experience working directly with Epic Hosting servicesExperience with health system infrastructure transformations or data center migrationsPMP or equivalent certificationFamiliarity with Epic modules and workflows across clinical and revenue cycleWhat Success Looks LikeSeamless coordination between Epic and internal teamsClear, executable program plan with strong stakeholder alignmentOn-time, well-managed testing and transition phasesSuccessful go-live with minimal disruption and strong stabilizationOur Team: Divurgent is a solutions provider focused on what matters most to our client partners.
