Network Security Engineer
Our large technical manufacturing client is seeking a hands-on OT Security Engineer to support secure network operations, remote access deployments, and vulnerability management across enterprise and operational technology (OT) environments. This individual will partner closely with network, system, and site owners to drive secure configurations while balancing uptime and operational constraints. 70% of the responsibilities include configuration on client sites, other facilities and user accounts while the other 30% is vulnerability management.This is a 6 month contract opportunity. This opportunity is remote but EST is required, and proximity to Wilmington, Delaware is a plus. Pay range will fall from $55-60/hr.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesSupport network security design + segmentation by analyzing traffic flows, ports, and protocolsDeploy and troubleshoot secure remote access solutions across PCN / OT environmentsPartner with firewall + system owners to define access paths, rules, and configurationsConduct vulnerability assessments across network, server, and OT assetsDrive remediation efforts with asset owners and track through full lifecycleSupport onboarding of new tools, sites, and cybersecurity integrationsEnsure logging, monitoring, encryption, and authentication standards are metMaintain asset inventory tooling and investigate data collection issuesWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
