React Native / Expo Developer

We’re looking for a skilled React Native / Expo Developer to join our team and help build a high-quality mobile application in the music industry. The app focuses on delivering engaging user experiences for artists, listeners, and music-related services, so experience working on media, streaming, social, or real-time interactive applications is a strong plus.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, Expo, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern React architecture.Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and product teams to deliver seamless, scalable, and engaging user experiences.Integrate REST APIs, authentication flows, and third-party SDKs while ensuring secure and reliable data handling.Implement and maintain native mobile features including push notifications, deep linking, geolocation, camera access, file storage, offline synchronization, and background tasks.Optimize application performance, responsiveness, debugging, crash analysis, and reliability across iOS and Android devices.Participate in code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD workflows, and App Store / Google Play deployment and release processes.RequirementsStrong experience with React Native and Expo for building and deploying production mobile applications on iOS and Android.Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React hooks, component architecture, and state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.Experience integrating REST APIs, authentication systems, third-party SDKs, and working within the Expo ecosystem (EAS Build, OTA updates, notifications, permissions, and deep linking).Experience working with native mobile capabilities including camera, geolocation, push notifications, background tasks, file storage, and offline data synchronization.Strong understanding of mobile debugging, performance optimization, memory management, automated testing (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox), Git workflows, and agile development practices.Experience working with startups and U.S.-based companies is a plus; strong English communication skills and availability to collaborate during EST business hours. Nice to have: experience with music, media, streaming, analytics, subscription billing, maps integration (Mapbox / Google Maps), native module integration, and real-time interactive applications.
