Software Developer X2Contract: Freelance/B2B – 24 months Location: Remote within the EU Start: ASAP Overview Our client is building and maintaining mission-critical platforms within a true DevOps culture. Each product team owns its stack end-to-end, from frontend and backend through to infrastructure, with full accountability for CI/CD, stability, and scalability. They are looking for experienced Full Stack Engineers to join a high-performing team focused on driving continuous improvement across a complex .NET and Angular codebase. The right person will be proactive in identifying issues, refactoring, and shaping cleaner, more maintainable solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using C# (.NET) and Angular (Microfrontends). Improve and refactor existing code to enhance clarity, maintainability, and scalability. Collaborate closely in pairing sessions, actively discussing design and implementation decisions. Contribute to system design and architecture for high-load and concurrent systems. Manage full infrastructure delivery in Azure (App Gateway, API Management, Container Apps, ServiceBus/EventHub, SQL, Blob Storage, CDN, OpenAI). Implement Infrastructure as Code (Bicep) and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions). Ensure security and code quality using SonarQube, Mend, and Aqua Trivy. Participate in on-call rotations as needed. Technical Environment:Backend: C#, .NET Core Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, Microfrontends Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Gateway, API Management, Container Apps, ServiceBus/EventHub, SQL, BLOB, CDN) IaC / DevOps: Bicep, GitHub Actions, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Compass, Atlas) • Security & Quality: SonarQube, Mend, Aqua Trivy What They’re Looking For: 5–8 years of hands-on experience in full stack development with .NET and Angular. Strong understanding of clean code principles, refactoring, and antipatterns, able to look at a problematic codebase and identify improvements. Experience debugging, setting up, and maintaining .NET environments independently. Deep interest in building maintainable, scalable systems, not just writing code, but improving it. Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills; able to work closely with peers and tech leads in a “pairing” setup. Proficiency with containerized workloads and IaC (Bicep, Terraform, or equivalent).
