St. John Fisher University – Rochester, NY $75,000–$85,000 (based on skill, experience, and work history ) ⏰ Open availability is required ️ What You’ll Do As our Catering Operations Director, you’ll be the visionary behind every coffee chat, student celebration, and VIP reception—both on and off campus. You'll: ✨ Oversee all catering operations from concept to cleanup ✨ Collaborate with our Executive Chef on crave-worthy menus ✨ Build and elevate the catering marketing strategy ✨ Lead, inspire, and grow a talented catering team ✨ Ensure smooth logistics, quality execution, and client happiness ✨ Strategize with Chartwells and Fisher leadership to grow business ✨ Act as a campus ambassador—fostering relationships and creating unforgettable experiences This is a hands-on, high-impact role where hospitality meets creativity. What You Bring ✔ 5+ years of progressive catering leadership ✔ Experience with menu design, costing, pricing & event logistics ✔ Ability to lead teams with confidence and great communication ✔ Strong operational instincts & cost management skills ✔ Flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays ✔ ServSafe® Certification a plus ✔ A passion for hospitality and creating “wow” moments Why Chartwells?
