You’ll lead a highly skilled group of technicians whose work will ensure our facility equipment is maintained and our pipeline operations are successful!Your work will challenge and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities/Expectations:Works under the direction of Operations Manager to achieve safety, operational and maintenance prioritiesCoordinates and ensures that team members are adequately trained and capable of identifying hazards and safely carrying out dutiesVerifies all work performed is in strict accordance with policies and proceduresMaintains a safe, secure and motivating work environment and holds employees accountable for safe practicesServes as a consistent and regular presence at work sites, supervising and auditing critical safety procedures and providing immediate and regular feedbackAssists with budgeting, forecasting and conducts routine operating cost analysisCommunicates outage plans to business partners to minimize impacts to customers and profitabilityEnsures that a collaborative environment exists where information is readily sharedThrives in a team environment and can build effective teamsArranges workforce planning and career development for team membersDelegates and coordinates the work of othersMaintains positive relationships with internal and external customers to recognize and improve potential opportunitiesAssures economic operations by handling costs through accurate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling with a focus on safety, high reliability, environmental and regulatory complianceAbility to analyze and develop process improvements and development of vital documentationOperates as a subject matter expert or change agent for meaningful organizational programs and initiativesOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: High School diploma or GED; a minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a supervisor or senior lead role and a minimum of eight (8) years of industry specific operations experiencePreferred: Associate's degreePhysical and Environment Work Requirements:Must be willing to:Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spacesCarry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as neededStand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of timeWork at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)Use hand toolsOther Requirements: Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving recordDemonstrates excellent project management/organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skillsNeeds broad knowledge of pipeline operations, engineering practices, and regulatory compliancePreferred: Proficiency in trouble shooting tools such as P&ID’s, data historian process trending, SCADA and laboratory/on-line analyzer analysis, Leads a team that is responsible for the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of assigned assets in a specified area of responsibility of the Operations Manager. Serves as a role model for safe operations, providing a visible leadership presence and holds team members equally accountable for safety and adherence to the risk management systems in place. Ensures all employees within their area are adequately trained and qualified to identify hazards and safely carry out duties as required.
