Chief Finance Officer

Roles & ResponsibilitiesPART A: Duties & ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain the firm relationship with Japan Group Headquarter Finance and Accounting Department in Japan with full understanding of Group finance strategy, and Group Accounting standardDevelops financial strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to the top management, outlining strategic thinking and direction, establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectivesProviding strategic recommendations to the CEO/President and members of the executive management teamResponsible for ensuring effective internal controls, risk and compliance management framework are operational is the Asia Pacific regionWork with the top management on the development and evaluation of short term and long term strategic financial objectives and goalsOversee and manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, consolidation and reportingPropose action plans and ensuring annual financial objectives are attainedDevelops financial strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis,Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Company from time to timePART B: Experience & Skill-set requiredMinimum Degree related to Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Management or equivalent field, or graduate from Recognized Accountancy Bodies.CPA / ACCA equivalent accreditationAt least 10 years of working experience and 5 years of experience in a Corporate Finance Managerial position within a fast paced and dynamic environmentResult-oriented, have strong organizational skills, be self-motivated and proactiveTeam player and able to work comfortably in a highly collaborative settingSharp analytical mind, attention to details, exceptional problem-solving skills, and have an ability to remain calm in times of uncertainty and stressExcellent written and spoken proficiency in English and Japanese is required to communicate effectively on finance and accounting matters and to support professional discussions with the Group Headquarters in Japan.
