Vendor Management Specialist III
Job Purpose:This role is the Vendor Management Specialist III position serves as the main point of contact for various divisions including the Vice Presidents over those properties/divisions. It is the Vendor Management Specialist III job to serve and support these positions and address their various vendor relations and operational needs. This job could be located in Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX.Key Responsibilities: Manage centralized vendor relationships, including company travel, office suppliers, shipping, etc.Play a critical role in the management of the Companywide credit card programWork with internal departments on invoice reconciliation, and vendor purchase order reconciliationCommunicate performances and costs to managementWhen necessary, source and interview vendors; assist in the negotiation of contracts and costsRecommend new processes or systems for improvementDemonstrated ability to use analytical techniques to reconcile financial data and review and process financial documentsJob Specifications/Requirements:Bachelor's degree or years of relevant work experience in lieu of degreeFour or more years of relevant work experienceAbility to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and writtenProven problem solving and analytical skillsProficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsMust show initiative and attention to detailGenuine interest in learning, understanding and empathizing with the needs of the organization's leadership and staffDemonstrated ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, to be a team leader and - as important - to be a team playerLearfield is the leading media and technology services company in intercollegiate athletics.
