The ideal candidate will have a proven background in accounting with a strong understanding of IFRS.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Train new hires in South America and assist with monthly/annual closingProduce monthly financial report to meet company requirements and tight deadlinesAssist with internal control reviewResponsible for prepayment, accrual and month end closing entriesOversee pre-month end closing check ( GL, cost unit & cost center check)Handle variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with monthly/annual financial closing , and both internal / external auditsProcess weekly and monthly Bank ReconciliationsResponsible for credit card statement reconciliations, and intercompany chargeback/billingsOther job duties as assigned by managerQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Accounting10+ years of month-end closing experience2+ years in a supervisory roleBilingual in English / SpanishFamiliarity with IFRSA strong background in Financial AnalysisStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
