Program Manager - Precision Machining
Position Summary
Q C Graphics is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support our growing precision machining division. This position combines project management, customer account management, and technical machining knowledge to ensure customer programs are successfully executed from quote release through shipment.
Unlike a traditional office-based project manager, this individual will work closely with machinists, programmers, quality, and customers to solve technical manufacturing challenges while providing outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate understands CNC machining and programming and enjoys coordinating people, schedules, and customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities
Customer Management
Serve as primary contact for machining customers
Build long-term customer relationships
Manage customer communications
Provide production updates
Coordinate engineering questions
Identify additional opportunities within existing accounts
Program Ownership
Manage jobs from quote acceptance through shipment
Coordinate production schedules
Monitor delivery commitments
Prioritize customer work internally
Communicate schedule risks early
Coordinate engineering changes
Technical Manufacturing Support
Review customer drawings
Understand GD&T requirements
Review manufacturability
Collaborate with CNC programmers
Assist with fixture planning
Support process improvements
Work closely with Quality on inspection requirements

Qualifications
Required:
3+ years in CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, CNC programming, machining supervision, or technical program management
Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes
Ability to read engineering drawings
Understanding of GD&T
Strong communication skills
Preferred:
CAM programming experience (Mastercam, Fusion 360, ESPRIT, GibbsCAM, etc.)
Aerospace manufacturing experience
Precision machining environment
ERP experience
Quality systems familiarity
