Mastercam CNC Programmer

*Overview* Polytronix Machining & Fabrication is looking for an experienced Mastercam CNC Programmer to support our precision machining operation in Richardson. We are looking for someone who can take a drawing or CAD model and develop a reliable machining process from programming through first-piece prove-out. *Responsibilities* * Program CNC equipment using Mastercam * Develop machining processes from prints and CAD models * Determine setups, tooling, workholding, feeds and speeds * Create and maintain setup sheets and tool lists * Support machinists during setup and program prove-out * Troubleshoot dimensional, tooling and machining issues * Optimize existing programs for cycle time, tool life and reliability * Maintain organized CNC programs and revisions * Support estimating and manufacturing engineering when needed Qualifications * Hands-on Mastercam programming experience * Strong understanding of CNC machining and tooling * Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T * Experience developing machining processes independently * Comfortable working directly with machinists on the shop floor Experience with aerospace, defense, tight-tolerance components, multi-axis machining, HAAS machines, CNC milling, CNC turning, SolidWorks or AS9100 environments is a plus. We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates. Experienced programmers seeking a consistent part-time schedule are encouraged to apply.
