Boiler Maintenance Technicians

HTI is recruiting experienced Boiler Service Technicians for a large regional company that provides boiler maintenance service to industrial facilities These positions are full-time/direct hire. The total annual income will bebetween approximately $75,000 - $150,000/year, depending on experience level. Candidates must currently be located in or near Columbia, South Carolina. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. The company provides a vehicle for service trips, a fuel card, and a company cell phone; they also provide per diem for overnight travel when required. Requirements: Must have 3+ years of experience as a Boiler Tech, Maintenance Tech, or Facilities Tech, performing maintenance on boilers or similar systems for industrial and/or commercial customers Veterans with experience as Nuclear Machinists Mates, Machinists Mates, or Enginemen are encouraged to apply Must have both electrical and mechanical experience Valid driver's license and a good driving record with no major infractions Ability to lock out/tag out, drain, operate, troubleshoot, inspect, and test hot water and steam boilers Experience with preventative maintenance, lubrication, pneumatics, piping/plumbing repair, HVAC fundamentals, belt replacement, electrical schematics, and troubleshooting Strong customer service and written/verbal communication skills Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lb This company requires a drug screening Job duties include: Perform maintenance/service on industrial boilers, heat exchangers, and other boiler plant equipment Inspect equipment to identify and diagnose operational problems Perform repairs and replace parts (gaskets, controls, etc.) Perform periodic preventative maintenance inspections Troubleshoot and repair burners Install new low-emissions burners Retrofit boiler controls, including PLC, microprocessor, and instrumentation component/systems Commission, troubleshoot and adjust combustion on a variety of burners and boilers Document replacement parts required for repairs, and document repair services that were provided Request parts and materials needed to complete repairs/maintenance work Transport materials and parts to customer locations Document all activities and submit paperwork daily on all work performed Job Benefits 401(k) plan with company match Medical, Dental, Vision 3 weeks of PTO per year, plus paid holidays Fuel card, per diem for out-of-town stays Company tablet and cell phone #INDPRO Employment Type: Full Time
