Each teammate uniquely contributes to the success of the Forefront Living Family and its ability to further its mission.The OpportunityThe Role – Corporate Director, People & CultureReporting to Forefront Living’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and working with the CFO and COO as a member of the leadership team, Forefront Living seeks a Corporate Director of People & Culture with extensive expertise in strategic human resources and culture development. This individual will lead and direct the human resources strategy and administrative activities for the Forefront Living Family and partner with leadership on strategic human resources and culture initiatives for the organization. The Corporate Director will work with Forefront Living’s PEO (PEO) to deliver strategic HR support, assist with Teammate relations and conflict resolution, maintain and enforce community policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.Areas of FocusRecruitment and retention: Lead with experience and passion in developing and implementing recruitment and retention strategies, processes, and tools to attract and retain top talent.Employee training and development: Direct through a variety of modalities and programs and seek out and implement professional development opportunities for Teammates. And create and implement training programs to identify and develop internal talent.Talent management: Develop a talent management process that provides employees with meaningful feedback in a simple and timely way.Culture development: Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and promote practices that create a culture and embody Forefront Living’s values and strategic goals, including but not limited to recognizing and rewarding excellence and celebrating wins.Responsibilities The Successful Corporate Director of People & Culture will:Lead the organization in the retention and development of teammates.Develop and execute HR systems and strategies aligned with the Teammate’s life cycle. This drives culture and employee engagement and helps the community achieve visionary outcomes by recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.Work closely with leadership to proactively identify human resources' current and future needs and people strategies; identify processes and systems necessary to meet those needs.Develop and deploy formal and informal recognition programs and train management on delivery.Oversee organization-wide talent acquisition and recruiting process and collaborate with HR Managers to update as necessary.Manage relationships, leverage support, and work in conjunction with HR partners.Collaborate with the HR Team and PEO to develop and maintain core human resource programs such as handbooks, job descriptions, orientation, performance management systems, compensation evaluations, and leadership best practices.Work with PEO and the Communities to proactively identify areas of legal exposure and provide assistance and guidance, i.e., FLSA, Title VII, FMLA, etc.Assist the PEO and the HR Team with escalated Teammate discipline and corrective action, hiring, promotion, and discharge techniques to promote satisfactory Teammate relations and reduce the probability of future unjust discharge or discrimination claims.Conduct an annual HR and people needs analysis with each of the Communities' leadership teams. Perform an HR audit annually for the Communities to assess compliance and strategic needs.Monitor and analyze trends in turnover and other key employment metrics and develop recommendations accordingly.Along with PEO, consult on high-risk investigations related to allegations of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.Provide consultation and guidance on escalated employment matters.Assist PEO with investigations and information-gathering regarding EPLI claims.In coordination with the PEO, lead the development and execution of formal training programs, such as behavioral interviewing, harassment, and leadership best practices.Be responsible for meeting company deadlines during the annual performance management process. Assist with community and Teammate meetings as needed.Analyze external competitiveness of company benefits/practices.Analyze compensation strategy factoring in internal equity and external competitiveness.Report HR data analytics to the Leadership team for effective business decisions.Maintain proficiency in all industry trends and HR functions, including compliance and best practices, through continuing professional development.Collaborate with the Leadership Team to ensure that the organizational structure meets the organization's business needs and develop a workforce plan for alignment.Provide indirect supervision and guidance to the Human Resources Team with the Executive Director at the respective Team’s Community.Fulfill supervisory responsibilities by the organization's policies and applicable laws.Be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining.Coach, mentor, and develop the Corporate HR Generalist and oversee their duties and responsibilities.Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO.The Ideal CandidateLeadershipA leader committed to Forefront Living’s mission to inspire the support and enthusiasm of others.
