Benefits & Leave CoordinatorBirmingham, AL Direct Hire $65-85k Hybrid option availableKelly is seeking a Benefits & Leave Coordinator to work with our client, a global and innovative manufacturing leader, on a direct hire basis.ResponsibilitiesAdminister employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, disability, and leave of absenceSupport benefits-related processes such as enrollments, billing reconciliation, compliance reporting, and employee communicationsAssist with retirement plan administration, including employee education and audit supportCoordinate employee onboarding, benefits orientation, and related training initiativesManage workers' compensation and ensure timely reporting and compliance with applicable regulationsMaintain accurate HRIS and benefits data across internal and third-party systemsSupport compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and reporting requirementsContribute to employee engagement, wellness, and organizational programsAssist with HR projects, policy development, and continuous improvement initiativesProvide general support to HR leadership and participate in cross-functional efforts as neededQualifications5+ years of experience managing benefits and leave coordination in a company with multiple sites and over 500 employeesDirect experience with benefit integration during company acquisitions is highly desiredStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, benefits compliance, and HRIS/benefits platformsHigh attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proven ability to effectively administer complex benefits and leave programs in a fast-paced, multi-site environmentKelly is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified employees and applicants regardless of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or any other legally protected status, and we take affirmative action to recruit, employ, and advance qualified individuals with disabilities and protected veterans in the workforce.
