The facility features a 12-bed department with Level 3 trauma capabilities, providing comprehensive women's health services in a supportive environment.Opportunity:Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology - LaboristJob Details:• Provide comprehensive obstetrics services as a laborist with 0-3 patient encounters per shift• Manage both low and high risk pregnancies with full delivery capabilities• Perform routine deliveries including vaginal births and low forceps procedures• Handle complicated deliveries including cesarean sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions• Manage VBACs (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) and make critical decision-making for c-sections• Conduct FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE monitoring• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds including Level I (screening/viability) and Level II (targeted/anatomic)• Conduct amniocentesis procedures as needed• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations• Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology• Requires active New Mexico medical license• ACLS and BLS certifications required• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days• Lodging recommendations include Home2 Suites and Courtyard at NMSUCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
