Primus Aerospace Shipping & Receiving CoordinatorAt Primus Aerospace, you'll be part of a skilled, team-oriented environment supporting aerospace and defense manufacturing. This role supports the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations to ensure material flows efficiently through the facility while maintaining quality and accuracy. Position Overview: The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator supports daily shipping and receiving activities, helping ensure material is processed accurately and on time to support production and customer commitments. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, coordination, and maintaining organized material flow across the dock.Key Responsibilities:Support daily shipping and receiving operationsReceive, inspect, and verify incoming material against purchase orders and packing slipsProcess incoming material in ERP (receipts, inventory movements, etc.)Ensure material is properly labeled, tracked, and routed to the correct jobs/travelersPackage, label, and prepare outgoing shipments per customer and quality requirementsAssist in creating shipping documentation (packing lists, BOLs, etc.)Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveriesCommunicate with internal teams (Planning, Quality, Production) on material statusHelp maintain organized inventory locations (raw material, WIP, finished goods)Assist in maintaining packaging supplies and materialsSupport end-of-month shipping volume and general dock activityFollow company procedures for traceability and documentationMaintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving areaKey Performance Indicators (KPIs):Accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing materialSupport on-time shipments to customersMaintain accurate ERP transactionsAssist in meeting dock-to-stock timing goalsMaintain organization and traceability of materialsQualifications: Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent1-3 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferredBasic ERP or inventory system experience requiredStrong attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentGood communication skillsForklift experience requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbsPreferred:Manufacturing or aerospace experienceFamiliarity with quality systems (AS9100 or ISO)Basic understanding of inventory or material trackingWe offer comprehensive benefits for full-time employees including:PTO10 paid holidaysMedical, Dental, Vision, Short- and Long-term disability insurance401K matchLong and short-term incentive plansBenefits start 1st of the month after date of hireTo adhere to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen.
