Data Governance Analyst📍 Remote OpportunityWe are looking for a Data Governance Analyst to support enterprise data governance initiatives and help build the operational foundation of a growing Data Governance team.This role will partner closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to improve data documentation, governance processes, data quality, and operational efficiency across the organization.ResponsibilitiesSupport data governance initiatives, stakeholder surveys, and data documentation efforts.Maintain data inventories, metadata, lineage, and governance-related documentation.Assist with issue tracking, process improvements, and governance workflows.Support SIT/UAT testing activities related to data processes and access controls.Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and business teams.Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Governance Analyst.Strong understanding of data governance concepts, metadata, lineage, and data quality.Advanced SQL skills and ability to work independently with datasets and lineage analysis.Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments.Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with Snowflake, dbt, or data cataloging tools is a plus.
