Data Support Analyst

We are seeking a Data Support Analyst with specific expertise in the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack to join a Managed Services team. This role will provide Level 1 through Level 3 technical support for a large-scale data engineering environment, focusing on the triage and resolution of ServiceNow tickets and the maintenance of critical data pipelines.Technical RequirementsExperience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.Modern Data Tools: Familiarity with Snowflake and Power BI for troubleshooting and reporting.Foundational SQL: Expert ability to read and troubleshoot SQL code, as it is the foundational element for most system issues in this environment.Workflow & Documentation: Proficiency in ServiceNow for ticket management and Azure DevOps for documenting events and technical changes.Data Integrity: Proven experience in managing, validating, and ensuring the accuracy of large datasets.Key ResponsibilitiesTicket Triage: Serve as the primary point of contact for Data Engineering IT Support, triaging ServiceNow tickets and organizing priorities based on business impact.Pipeline Maintenance: Identify and resolve errors within data pipelines, including FTP failover issues and data processing failures.Job Management: Execute start, stop, or run commands for existing jobsCode Enhancements: Perform minor enhancements and Tier 3 changes to existing code as needed to resolve support incidents.Global Coordination: Support the seamless transition of pending tickets between shifts, ensuring that overnight issues (such as 3rd party file delays or simultaneous job failures) are addressed.Communication & Escalation: Maintain C1/C2 English fluency to coordinate with stakeholders and organize SWOT calls for critical escalations sent to the distribution list.Interested?
