Join us as we empower the world to work out, creating healthier lives together.Position SummaryThe Production Supervisor I leads daily operations within the Assemble to Order (ATO) department, driving a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role is responsible for developing team members, optimizing productivity, and ensuring customer quality standards are consistently met. The Supervisor collaborates closely with multi-shift leadership to ensure seamless communication, operational alignment, and execution of production goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSafetyPromote and model a safety-first culture; ensure compliance with all safety policies and proceduresConduct safety training and reinforce safe work practicesIdentify and address workplace hazards proactivelyPeople LeadershipSupervise, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance and productivity goalsEnforce company policies and maintain a fair, consistent work environmentLead daily communication meetings and drive team engagementMotivate employees through clear expectations, feedback, and recognitionAnalyze workflow challenges and implement effective solutionsServe as primary trainer for Level 4 Board processesQualityEnsure adherence to established quality standards and customer specificationsMonitor production output and inspect products for conformanceDrive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve consistencyResponsiveness & OperationsCoordinate with cross-functional supervisors to ensure production flow and on-time deliveryEstimate labor and material needs to meet production schedulesRespond quickly to production issues to minimize downtimeCost & ProductivityMonitor productivity metrics and hold team accountable to performance targetsEnforce standardized work procedures to ensure efficiency and consistencyIdentify cost-saving opportunities and support lean manufacturing initiativesAdditional ResponsibilitiesPerform production tasks as needed to support operational demandsComplete additional duties as assignedQualifications & Experience2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentPrior supervisory experience preferredStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and job ordersProficiency in Microsoft Office, UKG and Oracle preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAt Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we think customer first, play as one team, and raise the bar on fitness innovation—in the gym and in every corner of our facilities. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $62,300 - $86,000 annually.The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Ramsey, MN and the actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength’s Production Bonus Plan, which offers the potential to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics.
