Visualization Technical Architect

Key Responsibilities:- Architect and implement end-to-end data visualization solutions using Looker Studio and other BI tools (Tableau/PowerBI).- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design dashboards, and create interactive visualizations to meet business needs.- Design and optimize complex queries in Google BigQuery to ensure efficient data extraction and processing for large datasets.- Implement best practices for data visualization, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness of dashboards and reports.- Lead technical discussions and workshops to train internal teams on Looker Studio and other visualization tools.- Integrate visualizations with other data platforms and tools, ensuring seamless data flow and connectivity.- Work with data engineers to develop efficient data models and pipelines that support visualization needs.- Perform regular updates, optimization, and troubleshooting of dashboards and data connections.- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization and business intelligence.Required Skills:-Proficiency in Looker Studio: Demonstrated experience in creating and optimizing dashboards and reports in Looker Studio.-Experience with Google BigQuery: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries, work with large datasets, and design data models in BigQuery.-Experience in Tableau or PowerBI: Hands-on experience with at least one of these tools for creating interactive reports and visualizations.- Strong knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes.- Ability to translate complex data sets into meaningful visual insights for business decision-making.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Experience in performance tuning, optimizing dashboards, and data query performance.Preferred Qualifications:- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or Azure.- Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.- Experience with data integration tools such as DBT, Stitch, or Talend.
