Lead BI Developer

For our client, we are seeking a Lead BI Developer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a healthcare environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $112,000 – $140,000 annuallyResponsibilities Own the technical direction of the company’s BI ecosystem, establishing standards and best practices Architect enterprise semantic models and shape the long-term BI roadmap Mentor teams and lead BI development practices Build and optimize scalable Power BI models and dashboards Develop advanced DAX and high-performance data models for large-scale analytics Design and implement scalable data pipelines with Databricks, SQL, and PySpark Collaborate with business leaders to convert requirements into effective BI solutionsQualifications 6+ years of BI development experience with leadership or architect-level responsibilities Expert-level skills in Power BI, including DAX, modeling, and optimization Strong experience with Databricks, SQL, Delta Lake, and PySpark Deep understanding of relational and dimensional modeling concepts Proven leadership abilities in BI strategy and mentorship Experience with Microsoft Fabric is highly preferred BI/Cloud certifications are a plusBenefits Competitive base salary and incentive compensation Health and welfare benefits, including a gym reimbursement program 401(k) savings plan match Employee Stock Purchase Plan Pre-tax commuter benefits Up to 30 days of paid leave for organ or bone marrow donors Access to additional benefits detailed on the the company careers pageOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
