This is a rare opportunity to lead an AI-first transformation and build the next generation of enterprise networking.This role blends deep technical leadership, operational excellence, and AI transformation—with full accountability for delivery, quality, security, and scale.What You'll Own:End‐to‐End Engineering LeadershipFull RUCKUS portfolio: Wi‐Fi access points, switching & routing, controllers, cloud control planes, analytics, AI, IoT, and identityMulti‐generation roadmap execution (Wi‐Fi 7 → Wi‐Fi 8, AIOps, NaaS)QA, Release Engineering, CI/CD, and CodeOps with disciplined release trains.Cloud, Security & OperationsCloud operations & SRE for RUCKUS One (uptime, incidents, resiliency)Security & compliance across engineering and products (SOC 2, FedRAMP/GovRAMP, NIST)DevOps, CloudOps, and infrastructure automation at scaleAI TransformationIntroduce AI across the entire SDLC, delivering measurable quality and velocity gainsEstablish AI governance, guardrails, auditability, and quality gatesEnsure AI‐native, agentic capabilities ship as core product features, not add‐onsOrganization & TalentLead a 660+ person global engineering org across 7 sitesEvolve org design for an AI‐augmented future with clear ownership and fast feedbackBuild a culture of accountability, engineering excellence, and outcomesExecutive & External LeadershipPartner closely with Product, Operations, Supply Chain, Security, Sales Engineering, and SupportServe as a credible technical voice with customers, partners, analysts, executives, and the boardSupport M&A diligence and technology integrations as neededRequired Qualifications:15+ years of engineering leadership; 5+ years leading Directors/Sr. DirectorsExperience running large, multi‐site organizations with real revenue accountability10+ years building enterprise or carrier‐grade networking or cloud platformsProven ownership of production cloud services, SRE, and customer SLAsOwnership of large‐scale security and compliance programsEngineering budget ownership of $50M+ annuallyA clear, opinionated point of view on AI in the SDLC, backed by executionStrong product instincts and executive‐level communication skillsBS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent (advanced degree a plus)#LI-RB1#LI-HYBRIDOur salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $202,000.00-$310,000.00The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company's Incentive Plan.
