The ideal candidate will have a successful track record building trust-based relationships while maintaining urgency and accountability. Experience working in new and ambiguous environments while solving complex problems with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders will also be an advantage.Key job responsibilitiesCross-Functional Collaboration & Relationship Management Partner with NPI and OSAT teams to establish clear work models, ownership, and expectations Build trust-based relationships with OSAT while maintaining urgency and accountability Collaborate with NPI engineers on test issue debugging while prioritizing production needsProduction Operations & Issue Management Manage SW/HW consignment to OSAT and respond to daily production issues (yield, QA failures, line downtime, data issues, logistics) Determine whether issues require local resolution or NPI escalation Establish and maintain JIRA workflows that enable priority-setting in dynamic situationsQuality & Yield Optimization Proactively identify quality concerns from OSAT reports and site visits (repetitive failures, abnormal behavior changes) Highlight yield improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives Monitor production metrics and alert stakeholders to deviations from targetsCost Reduction & Efficiency Support NPI cost reduction campaigns (test time reduction, multi-site testing, hardware simplification) Identify and eliminate cost adders, redundant work, and material waste Improve throughput and resource utilizationSupplier Management & Scaling Define capacity scaling criteria for OSAT partners Evaluate and qualify new OSAT sources using defined metrics, execution plans, and correlation reportsData & Analytics Leverage internal production monitoring systems to query real-time yield data and consignment status across multiple OSAT sites Implement automated alerts using AI tools to notify stakeholders of missed targetsBasic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field 7+ years of ASIC implementation, synthesis, STA and physical design in deep sub-micron nodes (16nm or smaller) experiencePreferred Qualifications Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Experience in RTL coding and debug, as well as performance, power, area analysis and trade-offs Experience with modern ASIC/FPGA design and verification tools Experience with SOC bring-up and post-silicon validationAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Los Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include: work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
