Quality Receiving Inspector
Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionAT HARMAR WE LIFT LIVES!BE A PART OF THIS EXCITING TEAMThis individual is a key member of the Quality Assurance team. This individual will also interface with Supply Chain, Engineering and Production teams.Ensure materials and products received from suppliers conform to all product and material specifications.Inspects incoming purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and materials for conformance to specifications using precision measuring devices and instruments. Parts are primarily painted components or complete assemblies.Ensure materials and products received from suppliers conform to all product and material specifications.Performs first article inspections on lots received as directed by the Quality Manager.Maintains inspection equipment and ensures calibration is up to dateIdentifies nonconforming product and ensures it is quarantined. Notifies Quality Inspector of NCR and location.Assists with management of NCRs that are slated to be Returned to Vendor (RTV).Moves items to designated location once released to production.
