These audits will focus specifically on our inbound team to ensure all product received is to customer's standards.Responsibilities:Visually inspect and/or test all materials shipped into the facility to determine if material meets specifications and standardsAudit processes to ensure quality standards and defect ranges are being metDocument audits and maintain appropriate recordsProcess off-specification material as directedEffectively work and communicate with others in the organization and customersInform Inbound Supervisor of major and critical defects found during inspectionsVerifies corrective action is taken to resolve defectsParticipate in location inventoriesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, WMS, or related quality management systemsAbility to develop and use collaborative relationships to accomplish work goals by listening, sharing ideas and appreciating others' efforts.Knowledge:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredPrevious quality assurance roleCapable of basic math calculationsAble to read and interpret specifications and drawingsAble to use standard measuring equipmentGeneral knowledge of computersAble to lift, stand or walk constantly all shift as neededAble to lift up to 50 pounds and not allergic to latex glovesAttitudes:Self-motivatedMaintains neat/organized work area and documentationSaddle Creek is an Equal Opportunity employer and an Affirmative Action employer, as required by law.
