Supply Chain Manager

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead supply chain operations at our Fort Madison, IA site. You will oversee planning, scheduling, procurement, warehousing, and transportation to deliver exceptional customer service while managing inventory and distribution costs. You will also collaborate closely with corporate teams to proactively address service, scheduling, and deployment challenges.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, warehousing, transportation, and customer service.Lead and develop teams in warehousing, receiving, planning, and scheduling, with a typical team size of approximately 70.Drive continuous improvement initiatives (such as 5S) by evaluating current processes and implementing innovative solutions.Foster a customer-focused mindset across all supply chain functions.Serve as the primary liaison with strategic retail customers and internal teams.Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve service, scheduling, and deployment issues.Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators and support supplier development.Analyze logistics deductions and fees, identifying and addressing root causes.Conduct regular business reviews with internal and external stakeholders.Align supply chain strategies with business goals to support sales initiatives.Lead demand planning for product launches, transitions, and discontinuations.Your Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or Business5+ years of experience in supply chain, including Warehousing, Transportation, Sales and Operations Planning, Supply Scheduling, Customer Service.3+ years of experience managing direct reportsDemonstrated leadership in cross-functional project management and process improvement.Proficiency in SAP (production planning and materials management); WMS experience preferred.Advanced Excel skills (such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and proficiency in Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience monitoring, tracking, reporting and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring consistent measurement of progress, identifying trends, and supporting data‑driven decision‑making.Familiarity with Just-In-Time principles and experience in a manufacturing environment.APICS or similar certification preferred.Experience working in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.#LI-PM2#LI-MSL#LI-ONSITECompensation Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
