Senior Financial Analyst

TUTCO, LLC, a leading manufacturer of heat strips and heating elements, used in the HVAC and Appliance industry has an immediate opening for a Senior Financial Analyst at their Cookeville, TN facility. TUTCO LLC. is a Subsidiary of Smiths Group with Headquarters in London, England.  Qualifications:We are seeking individuals who are self-starters, upbeat and motivated with an excellent work ethic. Candidates must possess the ability to learn quickly and effectively in our highly technical, ever changing, competitive business.Bachelor’s degree required in accounting or finance.Master’s degree in accounting preferred.5 to 10 years of accounting related experience preferred. Ability to analyze information in an accurate and timely manner.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Attention to detail and accuracy required.Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.Experience with SyteLine ERP, a plus.Primary Responsibilities:Full financial reporting responsibilities for two business unitsAnalyze financial statements for discrepancies and areas for improvementReconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenancePrepare documentation for External and Internal AuditorsRecommend ways to reduce costs, enhance revenue, and optimize cash flowLead various management initiatives and cost accounting projectsRecommend ways to optimize cash flowAssist in month end and year end closing procedures.Assist with other Accounting functions, as needed.
