Details Located in the Cardiac Cath Lab (floors 1 and 2, South Tower) of a hospital with an average daily census of 120 Day shift schedule: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday After-hours and weekend coverage is on-call only (Saturday and Sunday) On-call required every other weekend plus one weekday Staffing ratio is 3–4 staff per room Day shift utilizes a Rad Tech/RN combination staffing model Procedures performed include heavy structural heart cases, including clinical trials Equipment used includes Siemens, GE, and Philips systems EMR system: Merge Floating may be required to Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab Pre/Post areas 13-week contract Requirements Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand required Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date) Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in Cardiac Cath Lab Structural Heart experience is preferred US SSN and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible Self-motivated and team-focused candidates are the ideal personality fit Royal blue scrubs are required First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but strong clinical experience in Cath Lab is emphasized American Traveler Job ID P-687173.
