Wire EDM Machinist III Join the largest EDM shop in the Phoenix area. We are a fast growing, experienced, team oriented, family-owned company. Job Details Pay: depends on experience Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm Job Summary Safely and effectively operate multiple Wire Electrical Discharge Machines (WEDM) for secondary process operations, and/or to produce complex parts. The Level III machinist will demonstrate advanced blueprint and GD&T comprehension, and advanced use of inspection layout and tools to produce, troubleshoot, and control the manufacturing process. Job Qualifications Training and Experience Requirements: Minimum 7 years’ work experience, trade school, vocational education or apprenticeship required. Minimum 3 years’ experience in WEDM machining including setup. Practical experience with conventional machining, desirable. Ability to use manual inspection tools required. Practical application of machine shop mathematics. Exposure to basic CAD/CAM, desirable. Experience in Sinker and Small Hole, desirable. Education, Licenses and Certifications High School diploma, or GED required. Trade school, vocational education, or 4-year apprenticeship with 3-years work experience acceptable, in lieu of High School diploma or GED.
