Terms of EmploymentW2 Contract, 24 Months This is a hybrid schedule at Oakbrook Terrace, ILOverviewOur client is seeking a Project Manager to lead and oversee DER (Distributed Energy Resource) distribution interconnection projects. This role is designed for a professional who can navigate a fast-paced environment and manage the complexities of utility-scale construction and engineering initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project milestones are met while maintaining a high level of technical accuracy and a proactive, questioning attitude toward project challengesResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of DER distribution interconnection projects. Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure project alignment and technical compliance. Maintain project schedules and deliverables in a high-speed, dynamic work environment. Foster a collaborative team environment to achieve distribution and interconnection goals. Apply a questioning attitude to identify potential risks and implement effective solutionsRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree. 5-10 years of professional experience. Proven background in the utility industry with specific experience in project management and engineering or construction. Must be eager and willing to learn, possess a questioning attitude, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills & ExperienceDirect experience with solar energy projects. Specialized knowledge in DER (Distributed Energy Resource) distribution and interconnections.
