Project Management Intern

Project Management Intern Prometric is a leading provider of technology-enabled testing and assessment solutions to many of the world's most recognized licensing and certification organizations, academic institutions, and government agencies. Prometric is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Project Management Intern to support key initiatives that streamline operations, improve project visibility, and strengthen data-driven decision making. This role offers hands-on experience in project planning, dashboard/reporting improvement, automation efforts, and cross-functional collaboration. The payrate for this role is $18.00 per hour. Prometric is a trusted test development and delivery provider to more than 300 organizations worldwide. Prometric serves as an industry gatekeeper, ensuring that people legitimately earn the credentials they seek to achieve, and thereby guaranteeing a fair testing experience for all who come through our doors. Key Responsibilities Assist project managers in gathering and updating project status, refining dashboards, and maintaining reporting materials. Participate in project status meetings, prepare agendas, and document key takeaways. Participate in projects to leverage AI to optimize products and processes. Support requirements gathering activities and stakeholder coordination. Contribute to work breakdown structures and project planning. Maintain documentation for tools, workflows, and automation processes. Assist in creating and refining the company's tech stack diagram. Support automation of scorecards and central visual project tracker. Research the Smartsheet project management tool and recommend how to optimize it for project tracking and dashboards. Contribute to Lessons Learned and continuous improvement activities. Participate in cross-functional workstreams for operational exposure. Visit a Prometric Test Center for first-hand exposure to industry-leading assessment delivery and test security. Participate in cross-departmental shadowing to deepen understanding of organizational functions, workflows, and professional career paths. Qualifications Pursuing a degree in Project Management, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Strong analytical and communication skills. Familiarity with PM tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, Trello) is a plus. Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and comfort with data. Willingness to leverage AI to optimize workflows. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Must be confident working with cross-functional teams and all levels of the organization. Physical Requirements This position is primarily remote, with the ability to work onsite in Middle River, MD 1 day per week as needed based on business requirements.
