: Associate Attorney - Litigation (Connecticut) - CT-LIT-0326-A1About the Role We are seeking a highly capable, self-motivated Associate Attorney to join a well-respected boutique litigation firm in Connecticut. This is a high-impact role where you'll be entrusted with significant responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact early on. The firm is motivated to have this role filled as quickly as possible.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle all phases of litigation, with a strong emphasis on trial workLead and manage cases in criminal litigation, personal injury, and medical malpracticeConduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requestsPrepare for and take depositions, manage trial preparation, and present in courtDevelop case strategy independently, making smart, timely decisionsCultivate and manage client relationships; maintain strong communication with clientsBuild a strong presence in the legal and local community through networking and business developmentMentor more junior staff over time (as you grow)Contribute to firm-wide goals, including revenue generation and referral growthTrack and maintain a target of ~1,500-1,600 billable hours per yearQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Connecticut Bar in good standing is requiredAdmission to the Massachusetts Bar is a strong plus, but not mandatoryProven litigation experience, including trial experienceBackground in criminal law, personal injury, and/or medical malpractice preferredProven ability to work independently - minimal supervision requiredStrong judgment and problem-solving skills; you get it done and take ownershipExcellent communication (written and verbal) and courtroom presentation skillsBusiness development mindset: driven to network, generate referrals, and grow a book of businessCommitment to long-term growth - this role has a well-defined path to partnershipCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $100,000-$130,000, depending on experienceBonus potential plus revenue sharing tied to individual performance and business generationOpportunity for partnership in the futureCompetitive benefits packageWhy This Role Is AttractiveA boutique environment where your work will be highly visible and impactfulSignificant trial exposure early in your careerAutonomy to run your own cases and apply your strategyA clear path to partnership, aligned with growth and business developmentA driven, professional team that values initiative and high performanceFor additional information on this opportunity, please contact Brendan Chamberlin directly at (651)364-7403.
