Job Title: Certified Boiler OperatorJob DescriptionThe role involves the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of high-pressure boilers and auxiliary systems. You will be responsible for monitoring gauges, conducting safety tests, and ensuring compliance with California safety regulations, including Cal/OSHA. The position also requires the operation of a stand-up forklift and the performance of preventative maintenance on conveyers and slicing and bagging machines used in meat processing.ResponsibilitiesOperate, monitor, and maintain steam boilers, hot water boilers, and related equipment such as pumps, valves, and burners to provide continuous heating or processing power.Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on boiler systems, including cleaning and replacing parts.Perform preventative maintenance on conveyers and slicing and bagging machines.Test and treat boiler water to prevent corrosion and scale buildup.Perform daily inspections and safety tests.Manage Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.Essential SkillsActive C-4 LicenseBoiler operation and maintenanceForklift operationBoiler CertificationMaintenance Technician experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with freezers and cold storageAbility to lift up to 90lbsUSDA regulations knowledgeWhy Work Here?This position offers permanent placement with a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan.
