We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Injury Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to our attorneys as they handle a wide variety of personal injury cases, from inception to resolution. POSITION SUMMARY: You must possess prior experience in managing a Plaintiff’s Work Comp caseload. You will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, self-discipline, the ability to adapt to changes in processes and procedures, be detail-oriented, motivated, team-player, the ability to multi-task, and be an excellent communicator (written and verbal). You must be able to manage a moderate to high-volume caseload; must be able to multi-task, prioritize and have excellent attention to detail while maintaining organization; must be a positive team-member with the ability to function in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but may not be limited to the following): Manage all aspects of Worker's Compensation cases from beginning to end. Gather, analyze, and research information. Educate the client on case progression and set appropriate expectations. Communicating and corresponding with clients, lien holders, providers and others in the legal community. Maintaining client files. Review, analyze and summarize case files and medical records. Preparing various legal documents, including demands. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2 Years Workers Comp experience as a paralegal. Personal Injury experience a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. SKILLS REQUIRED: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Proficiency with computers, telephone lines, and other related office equipment Must have strong organizational skills; be able to follow instructions, switch tasks quickly and meet deadlines. Must exercise sound judgment, work independently, and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
