The company is continuing to grow and is adding an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to support increasing bid volume.The RoleThe Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial mechanical projects. This role works closely with operations, project management, and vendors to ensure pricing reflects real-world execution.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for commercial mechanical projects (HVAC, piping, plumbing as applicable)Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop complete scopes of workSolicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricingPerform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysisIdentify risks, gaps, and value-engineering opportunities during the estimating phaseParticipate in bid reviews and turnover meetings with operationsMaintain historical cost data and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processesQualifications5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Estimator in commercial constructionStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical piping, and related tradesExperience estimating projects ranging from tenant improvements to large ground-up buildsProficiency with estimating software (e.g., Trimble, FastPIPE, QuickBid, Excel, or similar)Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally What's OfferedCompetitive base salary up from $110 to $155K depending on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchStable backlog and long-term growth opportunityCollaborative team environment with experienced leadership
