Manager, Indirect Tax and Escheat Services

Contribute your knowledge and experience in compliance, audit defense, and consulting related to abandoned and unclaimed property. Your Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with clients to explore and enhance their unclaimed property and escheat methodologies. Build strong relationships while collaborating effectively with internal resources and mentoring junior team members. Your comprehensive understanding of unclaimed property concepts will guide your approach to client service in this dynamic, collaborative culture where teamwork and knowledge sharing are vital. Skills and Attributes for SuccessDeliver timely and responsive services that enhance client satisfaction. Stay abreast of technical developments and apply your knowledge adeptly to client scenarios. Analyze information thoroughly to prepare quality and practical approaches for unclaimed property cases and reach appropriate conclusions. Demonstrate a deep understanding of complex unclaimed property concepts. Contribute to achieving team objectives effectively. To Qualify for the Role, You Must HaveA bachelor's degree and five years of relevant work experience. CPA certification, membership in the US Bar, or a professional designation from the IPT. Technical expertise in compliance, audit defense, and consulting for unclaimed property services. Experience in performance and process advisory related to unclaimed property compliance. Broad knowledge of state and local taxation. Strong managerial, organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Willingness to travel as needed, and the ability to work in a balanced hybrid environment. Ideally, You'll Also HaveA minimum of five years of unclaimed property consulting experience within a professional services setting. The base salary for this role ranges from $105,100 to $192,600, with higher ranges in specific metropolitan areas.
