We are seeking aself-directed, visionary technical leaderto guide and support software engineers working on Workday Finance, Accounting Center, and MuleSoft integrations. The team thrives on autonomy, and your technical vision will directly influence the design, delivery, and scalability of finance applications and integrations across the organization.Responsibilities:Lead thearchitecture, design, and deliveryof scalable, high-performing solutions across Workday Financials, Accounting Center, and related enterprise platforms.Design, develop, and governWorkday Financial solution including integrationswith external systems (Salesforce, RevRec, Vertex, MuleSoft, banking platforms, etc.) ensuring best practices, scalability, and maintainability.Translate complex business and finance requirements intorobust technical designs , ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and industry best practices.Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques to enhance overall engineering quality.Mentor and guide engineers througharchitecture reviews, technical decision-making, and code reviews , fostering strong technical craftsmanship.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, business systems analysts, and 3rd-party integrators) to deliver end-to-end solutions.Driveinnovation and adoption of emerging technologies , including AI/ML, automation, and integration tools.Champion a culture ofcontinuous learning, experimentation, and engineering excellenceacross the Workday and integration teams.Anticipate future technical needs and evolve frameworks, tools, and practices to scale for growth.Required Skills10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience, with7+ years in Workday Financials/Accounting Centerand integration-heavy environments.Proven track record oftechnical leadershipin architecture and solution design for large-scale enterprise systems.Deep expertise inWorkday technical frameworks : Business Processes, Security, Accounting Center, Prism Analytics, Core Connectors, EIB, Studio, Workday Extend, Orchestrate, BIRT, and Document Transformation.Strong experience withMuleSoft Anypoint Platform(Studio, ESB, API Management, CloudHub) and designing scalable, secure integrations.Hands‑on experience inWorkday integrations with external platforms(Salesforce, RevPro, Vertex, banking systems) using APIs, Connectors, and automation frameworks.Strong understanding ofintegration frameworks, API design, SOA patterns, and web services (REST, SOAP) .Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including log analysis and troubleshooting (Splunk or similar).Ability toinfluence and guide senior stakeholdersthrough architecture discussions and technical strategy.Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to articulate complex designs to both technical and business audiences.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.Desired SkillsExperience withVertexor similar tax determination applications.Experience withWorkday Extend, Orchestrateand building custom applications.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.Exposure toAI/ML and automation tools(Kainos, Selenium, Mulesoft RPA, or similar).Experience withAI developer productivity toolssuch asCursor, GitHub Copilot, and CodeWhisperer .Knowledge of SOX, enterprise security, and compliance in finance/ERP domains.Unleash Your Potential When you join Salesforce, you'll be limitless in all areas of your life.
