Title: Metrology Engineer 2nd shiftIndustry: Military Combat VehiclesLocation: On-site York, PAPay/Duration: 46.80 per hour / 6 months plus contract to hireREQUIRED: PolyWorks / Faro Arm / GD&T / Portable CMM / CREO / SolidWorks / Laser TrackerConduct inspection and dimensional report generation utilizing laser trackers, Faro arms and high volume scanners.Generating detailed inspection reports for Manufacturing, Engineering, and QualityConducting laser inspections of new design installations for integration into manufacturingPerforming inspection tasks for new designs and design changesInterfacing with Design Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and ManufacturingReviewing inspection data and assisting in the development preventative action plansRetrieving quality data and communicating results and statuses to internal and external customersSpecialized technical knowledge of relevant military and commercial design standardsKnowledge of mechanical design and the assembly processExperience using PolyWorks softwareExperience using the following measurement/inspection equipment: o Portable CMM o Laser Tracker o High Volume Scanner (ex.
