Director of Enrollment
Summary of Position: The individual in this position has primary responsibility to lead a team of Enrollment Counselors to successful achievement of goals and objectives set forth by the Senior Enrollment Leadership team. Through coaching and development, the Director of Enrollment will assist in the day-to-day operations of the core enrollment team to ensure growth. Innovation and forward thinking is the forefront of the team.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoach and develop a team of Enrollment Counselors to achieve the targeted enrollment metrics and projections set to ensure growth within the departmentEvaluate the enrollment process, calls, texts, student records, and contact strategy in place to ensure effectiveness and complianceAid the AVP in enrollment forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisAssist in the development of Marketing Cloud materials to provide consistent and effective communication to prospects in the enrollment processCoach/mentor newly hired Directors to the enrollment teamAct as a point of contact in the AVP's absence when necessaryCollaborate with academic leaders to ensure enrollment and academics are working as a cohesive unit to ensure maximum success and enrollment growthConsult with the Associate Vice President of Enrollment on the development and implementation of enrollment plans for development, growth and successResponsible for the supervision of a team of Enrollment CounselorsOther duties as assignedQualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.Education* Master's degree required or at least five (5) years working experience in a fast paced enrollment environmentExperience* Five (5) years of leadership experience in a fast paced enrollment environmentRequired SkillsSuperior communication skills (written and oral)Advanced computer skills with work experience in word processing, spreadsheets, database usage, e-mail, Internet, etc.Ability to relate well to working professionalsAbility to work independently, especially around arranging and conducting virtual training and meetingsExcellent organizational abilitySuperior interpersonal skillsTravel occasionally requiredIWU Kingdom Diversity StatementIWU, in covenant with God's reconciling work and in accordance with the Biblical principles of our historic Wesleyan tradition, commits to build a community that reflects Kingdom diversity.
