Property Manager

A growing national commercial real estate firm is seeking a confident, hands-on professional to take ownership of two premier assets and deliver exceptional operational and tenant experiences. This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone who enjoys being both strategic and in the weeds—driving performance, building relationships, and ensuring day-to-day excellence across your portfolio. This fully in-person role offers a salary of $95,000–$110,000 and will be based out of assets in Deerfield and Northbrook. It offers a comprehensive benefits package including but not limited to medical, dental and 401(k).If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.Key Responsibilities of the Property Manager: Build and cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with tenants to drive satisfaction and retention Lead tenant onboarding efforts, ensuring seamless move-ins, transitions, and ongoing lease administration Manage all lease-related activity, including renewals, expansions, and modifications Conduct regular property inspections to uphold the highest standards across building systems and overall appearance Oversee maintenance operations, service requests, and vendor performance to ensure timely and high-quality execution Manage a team onsite including administrative and engineering positions Manage and partner with third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring alignment with service expectations and compliance standards Drive property financial performance through budgeting, expense management, and detailed variance analysis Qualifications of the Property Manager: Bachelor’s degree preferred; xywuqvp industry designations such as CCIM, CPM, or RPA preferred Active real estate license strongly preferred 5–7 years of commercial property management experience required At least 3+ years of experience managing or supervising on-site staff Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, operating expenses, and reporting Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and internal teams Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills P-13
