Snowflake Data Engineer with CORTEX

Technical Skills4+ years of hands-on Snowflake Platform Management (engineering and support ) experience and 7+ years in data platforms and ETL engineeringStrong understanding of Snowflake architectureExperience with Snowflake performance tuning, data governance, and security policiesProficient in Python, SnowSQL, data pipelines, scripting, and automationExperience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Integration tools such as IICS, Integration with Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or AzureSnowPro Core certification and cloud platform certificationsExperience with Snowflake Cortex AI POCsExcellent Communication Skills, collaborating with stakeholders and across multiple cross functional groups.Roles and responsibilities:Manage and support the Snowflake platform, including architecture, governance, and enterprise enablementOversee Snowflake administration, user onboarding, and access managementImplement and maintain data governance and security policies aligned with compliance and privacy standardsOptimize platform costs through efficient query execution, resource management, and warehouse sizingTroubleshoot and resolve ETL/ELT pipeline and integration issuesProvide performance optimization guidance, including Search Optimization Services and Query AccelerationConduct and support Snowflake Cortex proof of concept initiatives
