Job Details:Data Domain LeadLocation: Hybrid onsiteType: Full-TimeOverviewWe are seeking a Lead Data Domain Specialist to build and scale enterprise data governance capabilities in a greenfield environment. This role will be instrumental in defining how data is structured, governed, and leveraged across the organization. You will partner closely with business, product, and engineering teams to ensure data is accurate, secure, and aligned with regulatory expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and stand up data domains and governance frameworks from the ground up, including standards, policies, and stewardship modelsEnforce enterprise data governance policies, access controls, and domain standards to meet regulatory, privacy, and legal requirementsMonitor and improve data quality across the domain; lead root-cause analysis of issues and drive remediation with stakeholdersOwn and maintain domain metadata (definitions, lineage, classifications, and business terms) within the enterprise data catalogServe as the primary point of contact for data-related inquiries, access requests, and exception handlingPartner with Data Owners, Product Owners, and business SMEs to define data quality thresholds and ensure alignment across domainsPromote consistency across data products and drive cross-domain standardsIdentify opportunities to enhance governance processes through automation and toolingMentor junior data stewards and advise teams on governance best practices and evolving regulatory requirementsQualificationsExperience in data management, governance, or stewardship, ideally within regulated industries such as financial services, fintech, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals.
