Full-Time Maintenance Assistant - Crown Point Health CampusAre you skilled in general maintenance and passionate about creating a safe, comfortable environment for others?Join our team at Crown Point Health Campus, a well-established Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facility. We’re seeking a Maintenance Assistant who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance and repair on facility equipment, furnishings, and grounds Follow established safety protocols and maintenance procedures Complete and maintain timely work orders Maintain clean, safe, and serviceable equipment Perform regularly scheduled maintenance (weekly, monthly, quarterly, seasonal) Safely store and handle hazardous materials Assist with painting and upkeep of the facility Immediately report and correct unsafe conditions or defective equipment Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions to operations Be available for emergency facility needs as required Carry out other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a maintenance technician Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and OSHA regulations Familiarity with tools, appliances, and devices used in facility maintenance Manual dexterity and strong problem-solving abilities Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs., bending, twisting, and standing for long periods Strong experience and skill in painting Valid driver’s license in good standing High school diploma or equivalent Schedule:Full-Time 8-hour shift What We Offer:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Voluntary Benefits Sick and Vacation Time Package Holiday Pay Tuition Reimbursement Internal Growth Opportunities Employee Assistance Program NEW!
