Job Description: Electrician/General Maintenance Employee is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems as well as performing minor repairs to equipment and buildings of the school system. Qualifications: Holds a high school diploma or GED Holds "Electrician" and "General Maintenance" classifications. Verified work experience as an electrician. Holds or qualifies for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Length of Employment: 261 Days Responsibilities: The Electrician II/General Maintenance Employee shall have the following responsibilities and duties: To maintain and repair electrical systems as directed. To assist skilled maintenance employees and perform minor repairs to equipment and buildings. To respond to emergency situations as required. To perform the physical demands of the position, as necessary, in an effective and efficient manner. To perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent for Services, Director of Services, and/or the Coordinator of Maintenance/Facilities/Building Const.
