Crown Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to fill an opening with a local Manufacturing company in Riverside, MO. Position Summary The Program Manager oversees all aspects of new and existing automotive programs within a fabrication or manufacturing facility — ensuring products are launched on time, within budget, and to specification. They act as the liaison between customers (OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers), engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams. Key Responsibilities Program Management & Launch Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle (concept to SOP – Start of Production). Develop and manage program timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Coordinate tooling, fabrication, and assembly readiness with engineering and operations teams. Conduct design and process reviews to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. Customer Interface Serve as the main point of contact for customer communication on program scope, schedule, and performance. Manage customer requirements, engineering changes (ECRs/ECOs), and product validations. Operational Coordination Oversee fabrication schedules, resource allocation, and material readiness. Support process optimization, lean manufacturing initiatives, and continuous improvement projects. Financial Management Track program costs, profitability, and capital expenditures (CAPEX). Prepare financial forecasts, quote packages, and cost breakdowns. Quality & Compliance Ensure adherence to automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, etc.). Coordinate corrective actions and lessons learned across programs. Required Skills & Competencies Strong project/program management skills (often PMP or similar certification preferred). Deep understanding of metal fabrication, welding, stamping, or assembly processes. Experience with automotive manufacturing systems and customer portals (GM, Ford, Stellantis, Toyota, etc.). Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Excel, ERP systems). Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
